THE MINDFUL VILLAGE CAMPAIGN
Supporting Wellbeing Across Norfolk
The Mindful Village Campaign continues to grow across Norfolk, bringing communities together to support mental health and wellbeing. At its heart are Wellbeing Champions — local volunteers, businesses and community groups trained to encourage open conversations and signpost people to support. By creating "compassionate corners," the initiative is helping people feel heard, supported, and less alone.
As the network expands across villages including Blofield, Strumpshaw and Thorpe St Andrew, local organisations are playing a vital role. Leanne Gedge of Gedge & Sons Funeral Directors is proud to support the project by delivering training for Wellbeing Champions. Drawing on her experience supporting families through bereavement, she helps build confidence in having sensitive conversations surrounding wellbeing.
Together, this growing movement is strengthening communities and ensuring support is always close to home.
